Privacy policy

Silicon Youth LLC is the data controller for Silicon Youth Studios (studios.siliconyouth.com), a public directory of creative studios. For any privacy question or to exercise your rights, contact us at privacy@siliconyouth.com.

We collect personal data at two points, both voluntary:

• Request-to-book form — your name, email, an optional phone number, your message, and the studio you selected, used to route your request to the studio and our team.
• Join-the-network form — your name, email, studio/business details, and links, used to review your application to join the network.

We rely on performance of / steps prior to a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) and our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) in connecting creatives with studios and curating the network — not consent. We do not use tracking cookies or show a consent banner; our analytics are cookieless and aggregate.

Inquiry and application data is retained for up to 24 months, then deleted or anonymized. You can ask us to delete your record sooner at any time.

Subject to applicable law, you can request access to, correction of, or erasure of your data; restrict or object to processing; and request a copy of the record you submitted. Email privacy@siliconyouth.com and we will respond within the statutory time frame. You may also complain to your data protection authority.

We use vetted processors under data-processing agreements: Supabase (database), Resend (email), Auth0 (operator sign-in), Cloudflare (spam protection and media), PostHog EU (cookieless analytics), and Vercel (hosting). Where data is transferred internationally, it is protected by Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
